Gwendolyn Sue Martin, age 86, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on February 4, 2025 at the Autumnwood Care Center in Tiffin, Ohio.
Sue was born on September 19, 1938 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Robert and Martha (Dreyer) Preble, both of whom are deceased. Also preceding her in death was her step father Jack Stalter. She was married to William David "Bill" Martin, July 12, 1977, and he passed away on July 21, 2010.
She is survived by her daughter, Chris (Pat Brady) Turney of Tiffin, and grandchildren, Brice and Erica Turney, along with 2 step-daughters, Mary Martin-Bolin of Mansfield, and Laura (David) Fullen of Hilliard, and step grandchildren, Alex and Maggie Bolin, and Abby and Emma Fullen, and Matt and Jason Fullen, and a sister, Sandy Maistros.
Sue was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Weaver, and a sister, Stephony Soule.
Sue was the club manager for many years of the Elks BPOE #83 in Upper Sandusky. She also was a member of First Lutheran Church.
For hobbies she enjoyed tending to her flowers, traveling and shopping with her sisters, and had a love for animals, especially her cats, Gizmo and Dolly.
Graveside services for Sue Martin will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 10, at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky with Pastor Jim Stauffer officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Dementia Society of America, and can be sent to Lucas Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
