Thomas J. "Tom" Pekich, 75, of Loudon, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Born March 6, 1949 in New York, he was a son of the late Peter Pekich & Anna (D'Angelo) Pekich.
Tom was a 1967 graduate of Brooklyn Tech High School, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Albany University, and Master's Degree from Penn State University.
He was an engineer and leader in the Biotech industry.
Tom enjoyed watching and playing sports, music, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Pekich.
Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years, Susan E. "Sue" (Kuhns) Pekich; brother, Anthony (Barbara) Petito; son, Joe (Jillian) Pekich; daughter, Abby (Jordan) Smoke; grandchildren, Sadie, Nolan, Quinn, Callie, Lucia, and Tommy; and nieces and nephew.
Tom was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa who loved his family very much! Tom overcame great adversity in his life and all the while maintained a positive outlook on life. He will be greatly missed.
At the request of the family, all services are private. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Apollo.
