Tina LaViolette Obituary

Tina Marie LaViolette, devoted and beloved daughter, mother "Mama Bear", grandmother "Gma-T", and friend of Kaukauna, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, December 8th, 2022, at the age of 53.
Tina Marie was born in Appleton on October 27th, 1969, to Don and Sandra (Warnke) LaViolette of Kaukauna, WI. She graduated with the class of '87 from Kaukauna High School. Following high school, Tina attended Fox Valley Technical College where she obtained her associate degree in Administration. Tina worked as an insurance claims adjuster for many years – first at Guardian Life from 1991 – 2012, then WPS Health Insurance of Green Bay, where she was currently working since 2014, and loved dearly. Tina was always driven, whatever task was at hand, she had it handled.
She is survived by two sons, Corey (Abbi) Moede, and their son Iven, of Appleton; and Justin Siegel and his daughter Emilia, of Kaukauna; her father Don (Claire) LaViolette, of Sturgeon Bay; and mother, Sandra LaViolette. She is further survived by many friends, as well as her colleagues. She was preceded in death by her sister Susan LaViolette, lifelong friends Dawn Fischer (McGowan, or Aunt Dawn to Corey and Justin), Kelly South, Lisa Fischer (Vanderloop), Paula Smith and fur babies: Bitty, Tigger and Trouble. Tina love to love people, she had a knack for it.
"I am woman, hear me ROAR", a phrase often spoken by Tina. Which mirrored 'her' inside and out, "challenge accepted" attitude. With that said she was genuine to a fault, a pussy cat at heart (or lioness) and yet she sugar coated nothing.
A mother, a grandma, a friend too,
This is the legacy we have from you,
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength; you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart, you were always king.
You fought for us all in one way or another
Not just as a mother not just as a grandmother.
For all of us you gave your best
And now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you have earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts we will eternally keep.
A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 pm noon on Friday, December 16th, 2022, at Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel, 606 N Oneida Street, Appleton. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
