Valeria Mae Gustafson, age 81, passed away on Thursday August 15, 2024 at the Beaver City Manor in Beaver City, Nebraska. She was born on April 8, 1943 to William and Matilda (Reimers) Nesiba in Farwell, Nebraska
Val enjoyed painting, gardening, and loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She had numerous family and friends that she loved profusely, and everyone was very special to her.
Val’s faith in God was unwavering and she loved her lord immensely. She always put others first even when she was being called home by her lord and savior.
Val was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dean, Dallas, and Keith Nesiba, son Troy Gustafson, nephew Stephen Wilson Jr., sister-in-law Dena Merithew, and grandson Jacob Gustafson.
She is survived by her husband Eldon, sons James (Connie) Gustafson and Ross (Lori) Gustafson, brother Bill (Carol) Nesiba, sister Elaine (Steve) Wilson, sister-in-law Kathy Nesiba, daughter-in-law Cindy Gustafson 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
There is no viewing or visitation as cremation was chosen and a celebration of life is being scheduled for a later date. Garey Funeral Home of Beaver City is in charge of arrangements.
