RAVENA – Valerie Ann Besta, 78, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband by her side. Valerie was born in England daughter of the late William and Marjorie Turner. Valerie worked for the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk School District doing a job she truly loved, working with children. She also enjoyed working in her garden. Survivors include her loving husband, Michael E. Besta; sister, Jaquline; and brother, Charles William Turner. All services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
