Joseph Chavez Obituary
Joseph Chavez, age 23, passed away October 13, 2018.
Born April 1, 1995 in Denver, Colorado, Joseph was raised in Denver and attend area schools earning his GED. Joseph graduated from Lincoln College of Technology. He was working at Ideal Lease and dreamed of furthering his education and career by becoming a Master Tech. Joseph enjoyed tinkering and therefore his work as a mechanic and working on cars fit his style perfectly, along with is love of custom cars. He was passionate about spending time with his family, making someone’s day by providing a warm smile or random wave, and could strike up a conversation with anyone and most often, find a common interest.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Zenaida Chavez; father, Ken Seppelt; spouse, Amanda LeBlanc; siblings, Casey Seppelt, Isaiah Chavez-Seppelt and Sadie Chavez-Seppelt; grandparents, Evelyn Chavez-DeVargas and the late Joseph DeVargas and Sherry Bullock and Steve Hilpert; and many extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends and family at visitation on Saturday, October 27, 2018, beginning at 11:00 AM, with Funeral Services honoring Joseph at 12:00 PM, at Elevation Christian Church, Aurora Campus – 15600 East Alameda Parkway, Aurora, Colorado 80017. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
A reception to continue to share and support each other will follow at Lakeview Event Center, 7864 West Jewell Avenue, in Lakewood, Colorado 80232.
