Geraldine Boose Obituary

Geraldine (Deanie) Favorite Boose, a native of Edgard, LA and resident of New Orleans for numerous years until she became ill and moved back to Edgard, LA, entered into her Master's hand on Monday, October 21, 2024, at her residence at the age of 84. She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted nieces, and caregivers Jill Darensbourg and Jazmin Samuel, three sisters Margaret Henderson, Vivian (Lester) Chopin, and Anna Lewis, one brother Larry Favorite, one sister-in-law Regina Greer (Wardale), one uncle Lester Simon, and two Godchildren, Ricky Grows and Robin Lewis. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and her sitter, Mary Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Samuel Sr. and Virginia Favorite, husband, Jiles Boose. Sisters: Brenetta Jasmin, Bernice Favorite, Leotha Perkins, Shirley Grows, Marion Lewis, Josephine Favorite, and Mary Ann Favorite and brothers Joseph Favorite, Sr., Samuel Favorite, Jr., and CJ Favorite.
