Sandra Leinart Obituary

Sandra Elizabeth Coig Leinart entered eternal rest on February 17, 2022, at the young age of 66. She was the youngest of two children born to Velma and Wesley Coig, on March 8, 1955, in New Orleans, LA. Sandra was a lifelong resident of Metairie. She graduated Riverdale High School and attended Delgado Community College in business management. She spent many years working with Walgreens pharmacy and was manager for more than a decade. Sandra was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed visits from her children and grandchildren. She loved the Lord and attended church at any opportunity. She enjoyed singing and was a member of her church choir for many years. She spent the last few years at St. Anthony's Community Care Center. The family appreciates the care she received there. She is preceded in death by her parents Velma and Wesley Coig. Those left to cherish her memories are her three children Carl Lea, Wesley Lea, and Becky Corbin (Jeffery); two grandchildren Paulina Lea and Brianna Corbin; one sister Kathleen Brown; one nephew James Brown, and one niece Amanda Weeks. She will be laid to rest Friday, February 25, 2022, at Dennis Funeral Home, 1812 Louisiana Avenue in New Orleans 70115, with visitation at 12:00 noon and service at 1:00 pm.
