Todd Sherman Hinz

HUNT --- Todd Sherman Hinz of Hunt passed away on March 22, 2026, at Acute Select Specialty Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. Born on October 29, 1967, in Dansville, a son of Roger and Jean Ann Wood Hinz.

A graduate of Fillmore Central School, class of 1985, Todd furthered his education by earning an associate's degree from Alfred State College in 1987. His career in wastewater treatment took him through many towns and states including Florida, Maryland, Palmyra, Groveland, Elba, Perry, Nunda and more recently the City of Olean.

Outside of his professional life, Todd was a man of hearty interests and simple pleasures. He found joy in attending auctions, spending time with friends, and indulging in his favorite hobbies, most of all was fishing, hunting, trapping, and visits to the casino.

Surviving in addition to his father, Roger G. Hinz; are his brothers Brian (Marilyn) Hinz, Bruce (Kathie) Hinz, and Rodney (Debbie) Hinz all of Fillmore as well as David (Patti) Stickney of Hilton. His aunt, Susan Bezon of Elba, alongside many nieces and nephews.

His mother, Jean Ann Wood Hinz, preceded him in death on December 7, 1997.

Family and friends may gather on March 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, both at Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 North Genesee Street in Fillmore. Pastor Sam Wolcott will officiate. Burial will be in Alger Cemetery, Fillmore.
