Helen Link Obituary

Helen "Chrissa" Link

May 10, 1960 - February 2, 2025

Helen Christyn "Chrissa" Link passed into the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ on February 2, 2025, in Tucson, AZ. Chrissa (Jordan) Link was born to Roland W. "Jeff" and Carolyne Jordan on May 10, 1960, in Denver, CO, the first of six children. She graduated from Omaha Westside in 1978, where she was active in Warrior Voices and theater. Chrissa attended UNL, graduating in 1984, majoring in vocal music. Chrissa is survived by her husband of fifteen years, Dan Link; son Reuben Gaines; daughter Amanda Gaines; son Stephen Gaines; daughter Hannah Raygoza (Juan), grandchildren Emilie and Evan; mother Carolyne Jordan; siblings Geoffrey Jordan, Cathryn Jordan, John Jordan (Patricia), Celesti'anna (C.A.) Jordan, and Rob Jordan. Preceded in death by father Roland W. Jordan. Along with being a dynamic operatic soprano with the ability to hit fourteen billion octaves, Chrissa was a talented piano player, playing and teaching music for many years, and contributed musically in almost every church she attended. She could create fun out of nothing and her effervescent spirit and humor permeated her life. Her relationship with Jesus enabled her to treat others well and gave her peace through life's trials. The greatest way to honor Chrissa would be to honor God, obey His commandments, open your heart to His love, and receive His forgiveness. Chrissa's Celebration of Life will be at Citylight Midtown Church, 43rd & Nicholas in Omaha, Saturday, May 10, from 3-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in her name at the Westside Foundation website.

To my eldest sister and sibling: Your body is now healed and you are amidst a love and wisdom so wonderful, our human minds cannot fully comprehend it. You have heard the finest words you could ever hear: "Well done, good and faithful servant," spoken by our Savior Jesus Christ.
