Annie Snell Obituary

Annie Lee Snell, a native and life-long resident of Grosse Tete, LA, transitioned peacefully at the age of 93 at her heavenly home. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024, 8 a.m. until Religious Service at 11 a.m. at New Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 76625 Garner Lane, Grosse Tete, LA. Conducted by Rev. Hiram Blanchard, Interment in church cemetery. Survived by: one daughter; Kim (Charles) Lagarde, III, three sons; Lansing (Willie Mae) Snell, Darryl and Gerald Snell, stepson; Joseph Josephine Snell, honorary daughter Charlene Johnell Butler, one brother; Huey Juanita Hill a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph Snell, Sr, parents Louis Hill, Sr. and Lizzie Dunbar Hill, four brothers Louis Hill, Jr., Joseph Hill, Leroy Hill, and Burnell Hill, Sr., four sisters Margaret Scott, Albertha Collar, Dorothy Gage, and Mandy Lathan.
