Christine Kephart Obituary

Christine J. "Chrissy" Kephart, 54, of Stump Creek, PA died Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois hospital.

Born on December 14, 1970, in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of George and Wanda (Whaling) Sackash. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives and lives in DuBois.

On April 20, 1991, she married Wallace C. Kephart. He survives.

Chrissy was a homemaker and enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Ashley Witherite and her husband Dominic of DuBois, PA, and Katelyn Bundy and her husband Tony of Stump Creek; two grandchildren, Addison and Andrew Bundy; and two sisters, Georgeanne Mitchell and her husband James of Clearwater, FL and Sonya Sackash of DuBois.

Chrissy was preceded in death by her infant brother, William; maternal grandparents, Harry and Joy Whaling; and paternal grandparents, Mike and Annie Sackash.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Rick Howe officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Center for Organ Recovery and Education, 204 Sigma Drive, RIDC Park, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
