Warner B. Rodgers

Warner B. Rodgers, 88, of Lehighton, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Dianne (Rohlfing) Rodgers. They were married on June 29, 1958, and celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Prior to retiring, he was a foreman with Philadelphia, Bethlehem and New England Railroad Company at Bethlehem Steel.

Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Theodore and Grace (Hall) Rodgers.

He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Packerton, and a life member of Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army.

Warner loved to fish and hunt, and he would enjoy fishing in all types of weather. He was also an avid Notre Dame football fan. But most of all, he reveled in watching his grandchildren's sporting events.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Warner B. "Butch" Jr.; five brothers, Merle, William, James, Lester and Lamont; and four sisters, Joanne Rosetti, Helen Keiser, Betty Sauchinitz and Louise Swartz.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Dianne, are three daughters, Cindy, wife of James Albert, and Brenda Rodgers, and her life partner, Jutta Mueller, both of Lehighton, and Cheryl, wife of Paul Peters of Palmerton; a daughter-in-law, Rochelle Rodgers, of Lehighton; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
