Dale Schrock Obituary

Dale Franklin Schrock, 85, of Rockwood, died Oct. 30, 2024, at The Patriot. Born Aug. 21, 1939, in Somerset, he is the son of Earl F. and S. Helen (Mingle) Schrock. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, the former Naomi Fay Mulhollem; daughter, Dawn Janelle Schrock; and sister, Carol Ann St. Clair. Survived by his son, Brian L. Schrock of Rockwood; grandsons, Adam Schrock and wife Jennifer, and Ryan Schrock and fiance Brianna Prolenski; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Wesley. Dale was a graduate of Rockwood High School; he worked for Rockwood Insurance, later as a self-employed electrician, later as a mail carrier for USPS, and was co-owner along with his wife of Schrock's Market. He was also a member of Laurel Ridge Sportsmen's, Scullton Rod & Gun Club, Rockwood Rotary, a life member of New Centerville Volunteer Fire Department, NRA, and attended Laurel Mt. Chapel. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading his bible, and taking walks in the woods with his grandson Adam. Friends received 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, at the HAUGER-ZEIGLER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Somerset, where a service will immediately follow at 11 a.m., with Reverend Don Judy officiating.
