Leonard Bloch Obituary

Leonard Samuel Bloch - of Boca Raton, Florida - passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025 surrounded by family. He was 90 years old. Leonard was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Beverly Faye Bloch, who passed away in August 2022.
Leonard was a pillar of the community in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he and Beverly resided as a married couple for more than 60 years before permanently moving to Florida. Leonard was owner and President of Leonard Manufacturing Company and JSB Industries, garment manufacturing and multi-family real estate development and management concerns. He was also a multi-term President of Temple Beth El, a long time member of the Board of St Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and a Rotarian, among many other civic and charitable commitments. In the early 1970s, Leonard initiated "Operation Overcome" - through which he spearheaded requirements for handicapped access throughout the city of Allentown.
Leonard is survived by his children and grandchildren: Craig and his wife Mary Kay Bloch, Wayne and his wife Sheree Bloch, and Carole and her husband Steven LeBlanc. He was a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren: Alison (Seth) Bloch Samuels, Sam (Kayla) Bloch, Ryan Bloch, and Jonathan (Brittany) Holder.
Leonard's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his community. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support to those he loved.
A private graveside service will be held to honor Leonard. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
