Thomas Burdick Obituary

Thomas R. Burdick, 72, of East Hampton, widower of Jaqueline (Hallberg) Burdick passed away at his home on Feb. 17, 2025. Born Sept. 4, 1952 in Willimantic he was the son of Dorothy Burdick Heise and the late Robert M. Burdick. Tom was a life long resident of East Hampton as well as a police officer for the town before starting his landscaping and topsoil business. Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the end of the Vietnam War. Besides his mother he is survived by his daughter Jamie McGuire and husband Jeff of Berlin, his son Jason Burdick and partner Christen Pratt of East Hampton, his three brothers Daniel Burdick, James Burdick, David Burdick, his four sisters Peggy Radcliffe, Paula Agogliati, Pamela Rizy, Patricia McGlynn and his beloved granddaughter Sophie Jacqueline McGuire and Marjorie Pratt. There will be a graveside service in the spring at Union Hill Cemetery where he will be laid to rest along side his wife Jackie.
