Yin Ting "Betty" Perkins, 89, of Erie, IL, died Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Allure of Prophetstown, IL. Private burial will be in the Erie Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Gibson-Bode Funeral Home, Erie.
Betty was born May 25, 1935 in Taiwan. She met Clark Perkins while he was in the military and they were married in 1964. Betty worked at GE in Morrison for 25 years. She loved being outdoors, riding her bike around town, and keeping her yard pristine. Betty was known for being a good talker and telling it like it is.
She leaves behind special friends and caregivers Debbie and Matt Jones of Erie. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Clark and son, Clarence. Share a memory or condolence at www.gibsonbodefh.com
