Dustin Noble Obituary

Dustin J. Noble
December 12, 1981 - October 27, 2024
Dustin Jon Noble, 42 passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 due to injuries sustained in an accident, rural Devils Lake.
Dustin Jon Noble was born December 12, 1981 in Stanley, ND to Dan and Virginia Noble. He completed their family by joining his two sisters, Erin and Kristi.
He graduated from Stanley High School in 2000. He played football all four years but enjoyed activities outside of school even more. He loved riding his motorcycle and spent many hours riding with his dad and sister, Erin the bigger the jumps the greater the thrill!
Dustin was confirmed at Ross Lutheran Church. The church community was always important to him; he spoke fondly of the many people within our church.
Dustin lived in Arizona and Montana for several years after high school. He loved the outdoors and a day working in the elements was better than any day sitting in an office for him. His sense of adventure and love for the mountains fueled his life! He loved skiing & snowboarding, rafting the Yellowstone River, and hiking and camping in the Rocky Mountains. He also loved mountain biking and recently started to learn how to snow-kite. As much as he enjoyed adventures on his own, he loved when he could include his family. He spent many happy hours with family on the ski slopes, in his raft, hiking the trails, riding bikes, and sitting around a campfire.
As he lived and worked in other states to gain life experiences, he made the decision to move back to North Dakota and go back to school. He completed his degree in Plant Production Management. In 2016, he accepted a position with Montana Dakota Utilities in Sydney, MT. He lived there for a few years before receiving an opportunity to take a new position with MDU in Devils Lake.
He earned high respect for his willingness to not only do his job well, but also his desire to help his team members. Dustin had just recently received a promotion within the company and was so proud and excited to tackle new challenges.
His priorities in life were his relationships. He had the greatest respect for his mom and dad; he called them frequently and sought their guidance and advice for many things. His nieces and nephews brought him great joy and pride and he made sure to support them in their activities. His aunts, uncles, and cousins remained important to him. He cherished family get-togethers and the memories created. He always chose family over all else.
Dustin's family includes his parents, Dan and Virginia Noble (Bottineau); sister, Kristi Johnson and brother-in-law, Paul (Fargo) and their children, Makenzi, Jayce, and Chance; sister, Erin Lauf and brother-in-law, Ben (Minot) and their children, Londyn, Hollynd, and Briar; aunts and uncles: Jess and Sue Noble, Rondel and Ron Robinson, Bob and Virg Holland, Jim and Patsy Holland, MerriJo Hendrickson, Marlene Larson, and Lew Holland; cousins: Boze, Brad, Nicole, Ryan, Amanda, Missy, Rhonda, Randy, Shannon, Brad, Mike, Julie, Roxanne, and Ryan.
He was reunited in Heaven with his grandparents, John and Marguerite Holland, David Noble and Arlene Benson, as well as cousin, Melissa Holland. His greatest companion of nine years, his dog Dakota, was waiting for him and joyfully wagging his tail to welcome him home.
The celebration of Dustin's life is Saturday, November 2nd at 2 p.m. in Bottineau, ND at First Lutheran church (701 Main Street). Jeans and casual attire are requested.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Jason and I met Dustin soon after we moved to Bottineau and we became instant friends. The most memorable day was a ride we took in the Turtle Mountains on four wheelers to celebrate Jasons 50th birthday. We all got stuck except Dustin who would laugh and laugh as he pulled us out of the mud and of coarse razz us. We will miss him terribly.
