Carla Martinez Obituary

Carla June Martinez, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a devoted friend, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 21, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on September 20, 1956, in Denver, Colorado, Carla’s journey through life was one filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering spirit.

With a passion for beauty that blossomed into a lifelong career, Carla dedicated over 50 years to working as a licensed beautician. Her skillful hands not only transformed appearances but also uplifted the spirits of those fortunate enough to sit in her chair. Though she has hung up her scissors, the impact of her career remains a cherished part of her legacy.

Carla was not just a talented beautician; she was a pillar of her family. As a devoted Christian, she approached life with grace and faith, bringing warmth to every gathering. Her love for family was evident in the way she cherished holidays and celebrations, creating lasting memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones.

She took great pride in her family, often declaring that they were her greatest accomplishment. Carla is survived by her loving children: Julie Padilla Quintana, Leopoldo "Aimee" Padilla, and Andrew "Shanna" Martinez. Her legacy continues through her wonderful grandchildren—Lawrence Jr., Dominik, Samantha, Maressa, Kali, Mark, Leo lll, Harper, Eli, Mac, Tiffany, Victoria, Charlotte, Brooklyn, and Joseph—as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Lawrence lll, Julien, Jeremiah, Olivia, Jordan, Sadie, Willow, Chonsey lll, and Honey. Each one was a source of joy and pride for Carla, and she relished every moment spent with them.

In addition to her immediate family, Carla is survived by her dear sister, Chris, who shared many treasured moments with her. Their bond exemplified the love Carla held for her close relationships.

Carla is now reunited in spirit with her beloved husband, Paul Martinez, who preceded her in death, along with her sisters, Esther and Dorothy. The memories they established together remain a source of comfort to those who miss them dearly.

Carla was full of life outside of her responsibilities at home and work. Her passions included camping, football, playing pool, and taking adventurous road trips. With her adventurous spirit, she brought enthusiasm into every aspect of her life, inspiring those around her to embrace joy and seek adventure.

As we remember Carla June Martinez, we celebrate a life fully lived, a heart generously given, and the innumerable lives she touched with her kindness and love. May her memory be a guiding light for her family and friends in the days to come.
