Jean Elaine Sullivan went home to be with the Lord on the evening of July 28, 2025, just a few of weeks before her 90th birthday. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years Joe Sullivan, her parents Chester and Vera Wright, her sister Joy Rebman and great grandchildren Mackenzie and Lucas. Jean is survived by her children Sheri Hoornbeek, Tim(Heidi) Sullivan and Shane Sullivan, she is also survived by her grandchildren, Maria, Jennifer, Joe, David, PJ, John, Elya, Annaliesa and Thai. She had 20 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Over the last 13 year she was lovingly cared for by her son Shane. She enjoyed making a home for her husband and children. In her later years, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and after Joe retired they spent a lot of time traveling around the world. You could often find her cooking with her children and grandkids or in the garden and her flowerbeds. Jean came to know the Lord when she was young through her mom leading Bible classes for children. Over the years she lead numerous weekly Bible studies, she loved spending time with the Lord and spent many hours in fellowship with others. Even after she lost her eyesight, her favorite time of the day was the quiet mornings she spent in the scripture with friends. She also enjoyed her time with friends who would read to her after losing her eyesight. Jean left behind a legacy of gentle softness, unwavering faith and a steadfast love for her Lord Jesus.
