Kevin Spence Obituary

Loading

Kevin James Spence, 62, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026.

Kevin, originally from Kentucky, was known as "Hillbilly" by those closest to him. His career in printing brought him to Colorado, where he worked for RR Donnelly and Quad Graphics. It was in Colorado where he met his wife, Brenda. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared nearly 39 years of marriage.

Kevin was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. He had a mechanical mind and could fix just about anything. He showed his love through acts of service. He never complained, never asked for anything, and was always willing to lend a hand. He carried a strong work ethic in everything he did.

He found joy in the simple things-working in his garden, canning salsa, camping, working on cars, fishing, hunting, and playing golf. He was a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Kentucky Wildcats.

Above all, Kevin loved his family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father, and an incredibly loving grandfather. He was so proud of his beautiful children, and his greatest joy was his grandchildren, who meant everything to him.

Kevin is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda; his father, Robert Spence; his brother, TR Spence; his children, Joshua (Amanda) Spence, Rachel (Travis) Daher, Grace (Zach) Savoy, and Hannah Spence; and his six cherished grandchildren, Charly Ray, Trey and Tripp Daher, Dove Savoy, and Harper and Hudson Spence.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann, and his in-laws, Rollo and Charleen Stade.

He will be remembered for his strength, his selflessness, and the quiet, steady way he loved those around him. The kind of man who didn't need to say much-you just knew. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A celebration of Kevin's life will be held on April 9th, at 11:00 a.m. at Foundations Church, Loveland, Colorado.
