Pamela "Pam" Quam Obituary

Pamela “Pam” Suzanne Trussell Quam, 69, died peacefully surrounded by her family on February 15, 2026 in Denver, Colorado. She was born on July 23, 1956 to Howard Marshall Trussell Sr. and Louise Thrall Trussell in Washington, D.C. Pam grew up in Alexandria, VA and Bethesda, MD. She and her brother, Howard, moved with their parents to Okinawa, where she graduated from Kubasaki High School.

As a young woman, Pam became an outstanding secretary in Washington, D.C., mastering the word processor and newly developed technology skills in her profession. During her nearly 20-year marriage, she enjoyed a busy life in Stuttgart, Germany traveling to other countries, working on various needlework projects and even learning to fly. Pam got her love of needlework from her mother. She retired to Denver, CO where she continued her love of needlework of all kinds, making stained glass windows and walking all over her local community. Pam was known for her award-winning needlework of all kinds.

On February 17, 2007, Pam was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed the ministry and was a regular pioneer at one time. In past years, she enrolled as an auxiliary pioneer whenever possible. Pam also enjoyed going out for a meal with the visiting speakers and listening to their experiences. Pam was a zealous witness for Jehovah and Jesus Christ and spoke to everyone she met. One aspect of Jehovah’s creation that Pam thoroughly enjoyed was the sunshine and she went out as often as possible for walks around Glendale, CO.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Louise Trussell, her brother, Howard Marshall Trussell, Jr. and brother-in-law, Alton Scott. She is survived by her sisters, Stephanie (Bill) Babcock of La Conner, WA, and Adrienne Scott of Lewes, DE; her sister-in-law Marti Trussell; her nephews Adam (Michelle) Scott of Lewes, DE, and Glenn Trussell of Minneapolis, MN; and her nieces, Jessie Babcock of Palos Park, IL, Gretchen (Bill) Bird of Renton, WA, Domineque Scott of Lewes, DE and Diana Trussell of Bismarck, ND.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses – Aurora Central, in memory of Pam Quam.
