Patricia Tracy Obituary

Patricia “Patty”(Kohnen) Tracy, age 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Patty faced her final days with the same grace, humor, and quiet strength that defined her entire life.

Born on December 7, 1952 in Denver, Colorado, Patty grew into a woman whose kindness touched everyone she met. She was known for her sense of humor, generous heart, her steady presence, and the way she made people feel seen and cared for. Whether offering a listening ear, a warm meal, or a bit of hard won wisdom, Patty gave freely and without hesitation.

Patty built a life centered on family. She was a devoted mother to Tamara, a loving sister to Doug, Pam, Janell and Debbie, and a proud grandmother to Kaitlyn, Kylie and Ethan. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her love into them in countless ways — big and small — that will be remembered for generations. With her beloved cats, Mouse and Ollie she found unconditional love and pure joy.

She is survived by daughter Tamara, brother Doug, sisters Pam, Janell and Debbie and grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kylie and Ethan. She was preceded in death by parents Raymond R. and Betty M. Kohnen and Tamara's father Jeff Powell.

In her final months, Patty was cared for with deep devotion by her daughter and family, who ensured she remained comfortable, safe, and surrounded by love. Her strength, resilience, and gentle spirit will continue to guide those she leaves behind.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Denver Humane, Leslie A. Malone Center, 2080 S. Quebec Street, Denver, Colorado.Patty’s life was a testament to love, loyalty, and quiet courage.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished
