Thomas W Myers, 52, died at his home from colon cancer on November 4th, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, William Myers, and father-in- law, William McEwan. He is survived by his mother, Pamela Doherty (Dick Doherty), stepmother, Ceil Myers, his sister, Jennifer Kendall (Chris Kendall), his wife, Vicki Myers, daughter, Abby Snowbarger (Cooper Snowbarger), and son, William Myers. He is also survived by mother-in-law, Linda McEwan, brother-in-law, Mike McEwan (Angele McEwan), nephew, Peyton McEwan, and niece, Kasey McEwan.
He graduated from Cary Grove High School located in Cary, Illinois and continued his education at the Ohio State University, where he became a life-long Buckeye fan and met his wife, Vicki.
Tom spent most of his professional career as a marketing director and specialist. He did amazing work in his field, but he was the proudest of the relationships he created along the way with his co-workers and clients.
Tom loved an adventure! He loved the outdoors, traveling, biking, hiking, camping, and backpacking, but most of all, he loved God and his family. He thought of himself as the CMO of the family (Chief Memory Officer) and he was the absolute best at it! Some of his loved ones' best memories include traveling to fabulous places, camping in the mountains, hiking 14'ers, cruising Highway 1 on a Harley, bareboating in beautiful places, and so many more! Tom had a wonderful sense of humor and could always keep people laughing. His family and friends will continue to honor his legacy by living life to the fullest.
Because Tom celebrated life, we will be having a celebration of his at Eastern Hills Community Church on Sunday, December 4th at 2:00pm. In honor of Tom, feel free to wear your best outdoor gear or Ohio State apparel.
In lieu of flowers, Tom would like you to spend some extra quality time with the people you love in the great outdoors.
If you wish to make a monetary donation the family has set up a GoFundMe account to assist with the family's immediate financial needs. All remaining funds will be donated to some of Tom's favorite organizations. https://gofund.me/2da53e9e.
Family and friends are invited to sign the online guestbook or leave a personal note to the family at www.horancares.com.

Tom was one of the warmest, friendliest most positive people I've ever known. This picture is exactly how he showed up everywhere he went. Bright-eyed and with that big smile. I am heartbroken that he's no longer with us. But I know he's smiling over us now. My deepest sympathies, thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. We've all lost someone truly great.
