It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce, in the early morning hours of December 20, 2025, Tom passed away peacefully in his home. Tom lived an adventurous life filled with fast cars, beautiful women, and good vibes—he’d be the first to tell you that may have landed him in trouble once or twice but there was never a dull moment. Tom experienced military life, joining shortly before his 18th birthday in 1976. He demonstrated his skills as a marksmen and eventually left military service with an Honorable Discharge in 1981. Shortly thereafter, Tom met a single mother of three and stepped into the role of stepdad, eventually shaking off the "step" and simply being dad. He was a loving, thoughtful, and active grandparent in his grandchildren’s lives, each one having their own unique connection with him. There were only three things Tom loved as much, if not more, than his family: his El Camino, his dogs, and his snacks. Always remember to stop to smell the race fuel, never forget to hug your dog, and always keep your snack stash close. Tom is survived by his beloved El Camino; his son Barry and daughter-in-law Jennifer; his three loving grandchildren, Ashlee, Bailey, and Evan; his son Justin; his brother Tim and nephew Timmy; his loving friends Michelle, Gino, Donna, and Patty; and finally, his live-in caretaker Laura. Thank you to everyone who loved Tom in this lifetime. He meant the world to his family and friends. Our hearts go out to everyone who will feel the weight of his absence. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a fond memory of Tom and any pictures you may have.
