Boulder, Colorado
Alia Elisabeth Roberts, 35, of Denver, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2025. Born in Boulder, Colorado, on February 8, 1990, Alia was raised in Arvada by her loving parents, Annie and Tim Roberts, alongside her older sister, Caitlin Roberts.
A graduate of Ralston Valley High School, Alia went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder. With talent and drive, she began her career in advertising in Boulder before relocating to New York City, where she rose through the industry to become a Creative Director, contributing to many top agencies and acclaimed campaigns.
In 2015, Alia married Jacob Fling, and in 2018, they welcomed their beloved daughter, Eveline. In 2019, Alia and Jacob parted ways, but Alia’s love for Eveline was the greatest joy in her life.
Alia had a deep appreciation for music of all kinds, a lifelong love for basketball, and a passion for snowboarding. Her quick wit, compassionate spirit, and infectious laugh left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She cultivated close and enduring friendships that stood the test of time, and her absence is deeply felt by all who loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Eveline Fling; her parents, Annie and Tim Roberts; and her sister, Caitlin Roberts. Her family extends heartfelt thanks to all who have shared their love, support, and memories during this difficult time.
A celebration of Alia’s life will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at The Vista at Applewood (1401 W 32nd Ave, Golden, CO. 80401).
