Andrew F. Clark passed away on May 20, 2025 at the age of 63.
Born in St. Louis and raised in Hermann, Missouri, Drew grew up the middle of three boys. As soon as he was able, Drew spent his time riding his bike through the Hermann hills and along the banks of the Mississippi River. A lifelong cyclist, he would go on to be the owner of multiple bike stores where he shared his love of cycling with the greater Denver community. He held multiple patents, was a collector of books and loved a good barbecue dinner.
When he was not running the shop he could be found spending time with his wife and daughter, walking his beloved standard poodles, diligently working his way through his library of classics, photographing wildlife and, of course, riding one of his many bikes. But more than his love of cycling, Drew was immensely kind.
Soft spoken, he rarely raised his voice, except when cheering for Denver sports. He was creative, insightful, thoughtful and incredibly bright. A little bit shy, Drew had a knack for catching people off guard with his subtle and dry sense of humor. He was unfailingly loyal, loving, gentle and the most generous person you’d ever meet—always quick to give and to help.
Drew was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Eugene “Gene” Clark and his mother, Virginia “Ginny” Ann Stiegemeier. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Clarine Albo-Clark and their daughter Rachel, his brothers Bert and Scott, and three nephews, two nieces and one great-nephew.
A funeral mass and memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday June 24th at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held prior to services at 10:15.
