Cindy Sipe, age 64 passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2025 at home. She was a high school cheerleader and an all around gymnast at New Trier East High School in Winnetka, IL. She continued with her gymnastics career at the University of Wisconsin.
Cindy went onto work in advertising, teaching and the care giving industry.
She competed in several triathlons, an ironman and conquered all the mountains for Ride the Rockies in Colorado. Cindy loved all types of animals especially her dog and cat.
She is survived by her mother, Lynn Sipe and her father Howard Sipe. She also had 3 siblings, Debra Kaniaris, Bradley Sipe (Amy Waldorf), Heather Tangney (Mike) and many nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Donations can be made in Cindy’s name to The Humane Society of the South Platte Valley at Coloradogives.org.
