It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ileana Lucero. She was welcomed into the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
Ileana was born on September 21, 1938, in Leon, Nicaragua. She filled our hearts with so much love and laughter. She always had a smile on her face that was so infectious, one couldn't help but smile in return. There were never any strangers to Ileana, and she always had such a tender, loving heart for everyone she met.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose greatest joy was taking care of her family. Her love for her family was so fierce, and she always let it be known with big hugs and kisses.
Ileana married the love of her life, Francis Lucero, on August 18, 1962. Together they built 63 years of life, love and so many great memories. They were always together and would take frequent trips to New Mexico, Arizona, Florida and California. She always expressed how Francis was her best friend and her greatest love ever.
Ileana is preceded in death by her son, Frank, Jr. and her brother, Fabio.
She is survived by her husband, Francis, her children, Ivan Martin (Samantha), Inez Lorraine (Richard Pacheco), David Anthony and Emily Marie; her brothers, Roger Molieri (Thelma), and Danilo Molieri (Ivania), 12 grandkids and 12 great-grandkids.
As we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
There will be a celebration of life for Ileana on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 am at The Door Church, 2727 W. 92nd Ave., Suite 10, Federal Heights, CO 80260.
