On Friday January 16th 2026, James C. Duckworth, age 76 passed away. Jim was one of five children born to William A. and Bette J. Duckworth. Jim served honorably in the United States Marine Corp, then attended Western State College receiving his Bachelor’s degree.
After which, he met and married his wife Lauana R. Duckworth. Jim is survived by his wife of 49 years, three children Zachary, Rebecca and Allan, and five great-grandchildren. Jim loved spending time with his family, being a father and grandfather, he loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, adventuring and was an avid golfer.
Jim was full of love and kindness. He taught his children and grandchildren unmeasurable life values and wisdom. Thank you for everything “Papa”. Love your family and rest in peace.
