JOHNNIE LEE WALSWORTH-FRAZEE

Johnnie was born on November 29, 1940, in Yuma, Colorado, to Mother Dessie Boltjes and Step Father Kenny Walsworth. He went to meet his creator on October 15, 2025 with his family by his side.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. While in service to his country he earned the US Marine Corps Marksman medal, the Good Conduct medal, and the National Defense medal. While in the Marines he and his platoon were in a movie called Hell to Eternity.

Johnnie married the love of his life Carol Vickery on January 6, 1963. They were blessed with 3 children, Carolyn in 1963, Carla in 1964, and John in 1968.

He loved his family. He was also very creative and loved to work with his hands, especially when he was working with wood. Many of his chain saw carvings are in parks and homes across Colorado. He also loved to work with electronics and computers. He created the first ever coin-operated tic-tac-toe machine and it was in the Elks Lodge in Evergreen, Colorado. He also made one for his uncle’s pool hall in Otis, Colorado.
