Larry Russell Majors passed away at his home on September 2nd 2025. He was 80 years old. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. America. He started in squadron maintenance before being promoted to plane captain for an F-4 Phantom. He served from 1966-1968. From 1969-1971 he was in the U.S. Navy reserves. Larry was an artist and enjoyed going to air shows, camping, fishing and hiking with his family. In his younger years he climbed 4 Colorado 14ers with his 2 sons. Larry loved The Lord and was a committed family man. He was preceded in death by his daughter Paula in 2018. He is survived by his wife Sandi of 57 years, sons Jon and Andrew, granddaughter Nicci, grandson Christian, great grandson Donovyn, great granddaughter Korine and sister Laurie Reichert. Larry was deeply loved by his family and is greatly missed
