Matthew C. Gonzales passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 38. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and concern for others. He loved our dog, Roxy, very much.
Matthew graduated from Columbine High School in 2005 and attended Northern Colorado University. He worked in the anti-virus technology field.
Hobbies included online gaming, rock climbing, reading and hiking.
Matthew is survived by his mother, Gloria J. Gonzales, and his dog, Roxy, uncle Mike (Ruth) Del Hierro, aunt Celia (Pat) Vega and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Eloy I. Gonzales, aunt Juliet Adame (Lupe), grandma Lorraine Hawley, aunt Yolanda Marquez, grandpa Manuel Del Hierro, Sr., uncle Manuel Del Hierro, Jr. and uncle Frank Del Hierro.
He will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with.
