Melvin Eskanos Obituary
We regret to inform you of the passing of Mel Eskanos, 93, on February 4th, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. He fought the battle with courage and a smile.
Mel is survived by his wife of 68 years, Louise, and children, Debby (Bill) Schlozman, Barry (Ami) Eskanos, Sandi (Andor) Schwartz, Danny (Alicia) Eskanos, and Robby Eskanos. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. His granddaughter, Maxine Connelly z'l, unfortunately preceded him in death.
Mel was the son of Eva z'l and Rubin Eskanos z'l of Colorado Springs, and a brother to Rochelle Barkan z'l (Phil) and Irwin (Vivian) Eskanos.
He will be laid to rest on Thursday, February 5th, 3:30 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery (6841 E. 62 nd Ave, Commerce City, CO 80022); Livestream available on the Feldman YouTube Channel.
Contributions to BMH-BJ Congregation.
The family will sit shiva starting Friday, February 6 th morning. Shiva details are pending.
