Michael Bopp Obituary

Michael Donn Bopp, 63, of Eaton, Colorado, passed away July 9th, 2025, post-surgical respiratory failure. He was born to R. Elaine (Sharp) Forsythe and Donald Bopp on April 20th, 1962.

Mike loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, riding ATV’s and motorcycles. He loved his dogs Abby and Rebel. He was a successful businessman, retiring after 41 years with Winnelson Co. Mike enjoyed that time off, but then went back to work part time for Innovative Mechanical & Design. He was a devoted husband and friend.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; and his stepfather, Roland Forsythe; several aunts; uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Connie (Brug) Bopp of Eaton; his grandmother, Ava Faye Sharp; his mother, R. Elaine (Sharp) Forsythe, both of Ft. Morgan; his sister, Vicky (Ken) Arguello, of Fishers, Indiana; his brother, David (Diane) Bopp of Greeley; as well as three nieces; two great nieces; and many cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 1-4 pm at the Eaton Country Club, 37661 Co Rd 39, Eaton, Colorado, 80615.
