Patrick Mitchell Obituary

Patrick Mitchell passed away June 26, 2025, at his residence in Greeley.
He was born in California in 1958 to W.D. (Bill) and Beverly (Zink) Mitchell.
Patrick went to school in Jackson, WY, Greeley, CO, and graduated from Ten Sleep High School in Ten Sleep Wyoming in 1976. He later received an associate's degree from North West Community College in Powell, Wyoming and attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. He went on to work in the oil fields, construction industries, and worked with the Greeley school district and hospitals as a custodian, he also worked with the family apartment rental business for a number of years. He loved playing sports, especially basketball and football in High School and in Community Leagues. He was a life-long Denver Broncos and Nuggets fan, dressing in his Broncos hat and jersey for luck when watching their games. He enjoyed driving sporty cars especially his 280Z and his Trans-AM. He loved his family and especially enjoyed his nieces and nephews. He had a generous heart and would give almost anything away if someone else needed it.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, and his younger half-brother Gary.
He is survived by his Stepmother, Janis (Hruza) Mitchell, brother Tony (Marilyn) Mitchell, Kaysville, UT, his sister, Jaculine Mitchell, Bellingham, WA, his half-sister, Amanda Mitchell, Kenmore, WA. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces, Jared (Sarah) Mitchell, Jennifer (Tim) Evans, Carey (Megan) Mitchell, Chris (Brinn) Mitchell, Christine (Russ) Hermansen and 14 great- (nephews and nieces).
He will be interred in the family plot at Linn Grove Cemetary in Greeley, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
