Fue un padre amoroso de Silver Joel Velasquez De La O y Zurysarai Velasquez De La O, y un querido padrastro de Joana Rivera. Silver fue un gran padre, siempre preocupado por el bienestar de sus hijos, asegurándose de que nunca les faltara alimento ni cuidado. Será recordado por su bondad, humildad y gran corazón.
Silver tenía una personalidad tranquila, pero era muy sociable. Quienes lo conocieron siempre sabían cuándo estaba presente. Tenía una sonrisa hermosa y un espíritu cálido que dejaba huella en todos los que lo rodeaban.

Silver fue el amado hijo de Silver Lisandro Velasquez y Hilda Reina Arteaga Sandres. Sus restos serán trasladados a su ciudad natal en Honduras, donde será sepultado.

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Silver Jiminzon Velasquez Arteaga, who was born on March 1, 1980, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and passed away on January 9, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado.
Silver was a devoted husband to Anna Marie Rivera, with whom he shared 10 years of marriage. He was a loving father to Silver Joel Velasquez De La O and Zurysarai Velasquez De La O, and a caring stepfather to Joana Rivera. Silver was a great father who was always worried about his children, making sure they were cared for and never went without food. He will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and loving heart.
Silver was very social yet quiet in nature. Those who knew him always knew when he was present. He had a beautiful smile and a warm spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball, basketball, and football. He was a loyal fan of the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Lakers, and San Francisco 49ers. Music was also one of his joys, and his wife often heard him singing from a distance as he arrived home.
Silver was the beloved son of Silver Lisandro Velasquez and Hilda Reina Arteaga Sandres. He will be returning to his hometown in Honduras, where he will be laid to rest.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
