Suzan Davis Obituary

Suzan Lee Davis
Longmont, Colorado – Suzan Lee Davis, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and devout woman of God, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, in Longmont, Colorado, at the age of 67. Born on March 22, 1958, in West Virginia, Suzan was a beacon of faith, love, and thoughtfulness throughout her life.
Suzan's greatest joys were found in her family and her unwavering faith. She was a dedicated mother to Kristin, Jon, and William, and a cherished grandmother to Cody, Nicole, Eric, Roxas, and Elijah. Her heart expanded even further with the arrival of her great-granddaughter, Elowyn, whom she adored. Suzan's love for her family was often expressed through her cherished hobbies of crocheting and photography. Every new baby in the family was welcomed with a specially made afghan, a warm embrace woven with her love. She was the family's unofficial historian, ensuring every precious moment was captured through her lens at every family gathering.
A true woman of God, Suzan was known for spreading His word and continually praying for all those she knew. Her faith was a guiding light, and she touched countless lives with her spiritual devotion and compassionate spirit. Suzan was incredibly thoughtful, never missing an opportunity to remember birthdays and holidays, always making sure everyone felt loved, remembered, and included.
Beyond her family, Suzan dedicated her time to her community. She was a devoted scout leader for each of her children, nurturing their growth and guiding them through their formative years. Her giving spirit extended to her church, where she volunteered her time and talents, embodying her commitment to service and fellowship.
Suzan was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Alice Sue Davis and Hobert Lee Davis, and her sister, Kimberly Davis.
She is survived by her loving children, Kristin, Jon, and William; her blessed daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn and son-in-law, Jamie; her adored grandchildren, Cody, Nicole, Eric, Roxas, and Elijah; and her precious great-granddaughter, Elowyn. She also leaves behind her sisters, Karen Davis and Melissa Sianz, and her brother-in-law, Ben Sianz; her niece, Olivia Sianz, and nephew, Matthias Sianz, along with a host of extended family and friends who will dearly miss her kind and loving heart.
A celebration of Suzan's life will be scheduled at a later date, allowing all who loved her to gather and remember her profound impact. Suzan will be laid to rest with her father, mother, and sister in Kentucky.

Suzan Davis was my grandmother and the great grandmother to my daughter. I remember when I was little and we would babysit my brothers and I. She would make cat pancakes and make us laugh. I will miss going on lunch dates with her. I´m glad she was able to meet and hold her first great granddaughter. She will forever my in my heart and many others.

I knew Suzan Davis in 1971 when we were classmates in junior high and high school. I spent time with her at her home and met her parents and sisters. We had a lot of laughter and fun during our early years in school. I remember she use to crochet and she was so smart at school. She was my friend during this time. She contacted in later years and showed me pictures of her children and we caught up on life. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
