Victoria Altagracia Vila ("Taty"), de 90 años, residente de Louisville, falleció el jueves 4 de septiembre de 2025. Nació el 15 de noviembre de 1934 en Puerto Plata, República Dominicana, hija de Victoria Verania Vila y José Paiewonsky.
Victoria fue una madre y abuela dedicada, y una amiga entrañable para todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Su calidez, generosidad y espíritu alegre dejaron una huella profunda en muchas vidas. Será profundamente extrañada por su familia y amistades, y especialmente por sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos, a quienes amó con todo su corazón.
Amante de la repostería, el tejido y la colección de objetos especiales, Victoria vivió una vida plena y llena de amor. Le precedió en la muerte su querido compañero, Samuel Martínez, quien falleció en marzo de 2025.

Victoria Altagracia Vila ("Taty"), age 90, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. She was born on November 15, 1934, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, to Victoria Verania Vila and José Paiewonsky.
Victoria was a devoted mother, grandmother, and a true friend to everyone she encountered. Her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched countless lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her — especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished with all her heart.
A talented baker, skilled crocheter, and passionate collector, Victoria lived a full and joyful life. She was preceded in death by her beloved partner, Samuel Martinez, who passed away in March 2025.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by the Mass and Celebration of Her Life at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lafayette, Colorado.
