Waltressa Jean Isler

September 7, 1937 - August 3, 2025

Waltressa Jean Isler of Littleton, Colorado passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 87 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 7, 1937 in Moulton, Iowa to Walter and Lois Elliott. Jean moved to Hagerman, New Mexico in 1948 and attended New Mexico A & M in Las Cruses, NM receiving a degree in Home Economics.

In college Jean met Charles Isler and was married in 1958. They shared 66 years together before her passing. Jean brought beauty into the world through her love of Hardanger embroidery and other sewing projects. Her compassion for others included service projects for others over the course of her life. She prayed over the lives of her families and friends daily.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lois Elliott; and her brother, Joe Elliott and sister, Jane Gates.

Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Isler of Littleton; children, Jerry Isler of Lakewood, CO and Linda Wong (Gary) of Littleton; grandchildren, Joshua and Andy Wong of Littleton; brother, Frank Elliott (Harriet) of Bryan, Texas and sister, Judy (Frank) Pillow of Broomfield, CO.

The family is grateful for the care provided by the staff of Morningstar Assisted Living of Littleton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse, www.samaritanspurse.org or Food Bank of the Rockies, www.foodbankrockies.org

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Three Trees Chapel, 13416 W. Arbor Place, Littleton, CO 80127, 303-932-2278.
