Laura "Laurie" Leprino, born on Independence Day in 1951, lived a life as full and vibrant as the fireworks that marked her first day on earth. She dedicated her life wholeheartedly to her family and carried a deep, lifelong passion for politics and spirited debate.
Her greatest joy, however, was found in the immeasurable love she shared with her grandchildren—Mackenzie, Grace, and Rocco—who were the light of her life and the center of her world.
Laurie's final farewell came on Saturday, August 30, 2025, as she passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and friendship that will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her devoted husband, George; her son, Matt; her son-in-law, Ian; her stepdaughter, Brittany; and her cherished grandchildren, who meant more to her than anything in this world. Laurie's memory will also be carried on by countless lifelong friends, each of whom felt the warmth of her kindness and the strength of her spirit.
Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and a life well-lived.
The family will host a private ceremony celebrating her life.

With heartfelt sympathy to all of Laurie´s family and friends. May your grief be eased in some small way, by the many wonderful memories you have of her.
I will always remember her laughter when talking about our grandchildren together.
